LessPix

About

Built by someone who automates screens for a living

LessPix is made by a small software team that spends all day building systems, pipelines and — yes — things that compete for attention. That's exactly why this site exists.

Working inside the machine teaches you two things. First, how deliberately engineered the pull of a feed is: the colors, the timers, the variable rewards are all tuned, professionally, every week. Second, that the tide only moves one way — every year the screens get better at being looked at. Waiting for the industry to hand your time back is not a plan.

So this is the counterweight we wanted for our own families: the arithmetic stated plainly, the health evidence cited to its sources, and the paper tools that survive contact with real households.

Editorial & citation policy

Health and statistics pages are written and maintained by the LessPix editorial team (a small software and research group), reviewed against the cited primary sources before publishing, and dated. References prefer DOI links verified against the Crossref registry; where a stable identifier can't be confirmed we link a literature search instead of guessing. Found an error? Tell us — corrections ship fast and are noted. We are not clinicians, and clinical review by an eye-care professional is on our roadmap for the myopia pages.

Rules we hold ourselves to
